I understand the skepticism some feel. York has heard big promises before. But caution is different from resignation. Too often, the loudest naysayers don't move cities forward. They stand still, narrating decline instead of participating in progress. Critique has its place. But it has never poured concrete, created jobs, or opened doors for the next generation.
